The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for Sea Isle City from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, and a more severe Coastal Flood Watch from 4 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, through noon on Friday, Nov. 15.

A full moon on Friday and strong onshore winds will combine to cause coastal flooding through multiple tide cycles this week.

Residents should be prepared to move vehicles to safe places well in advance of these high tides.

For your safety and the protection of your vehicle and neighboring properties, never drive on any street covered by water. Please do not disregard barricades on flooded streets.

“If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property,” the Sea Isle Police Department said in a weather alert.

For Police and Fire Department emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 609-263-4311.
