Mayor Leonard Desiderio will host Sea Isle City’s 2024 Veterans Day ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11, at Veterans Park.
The community will honor the men and women who served in the nation’s armed forces.
Starting at 11 a.m., the ceremony will feature patriotic hymns, including bagpipe music, the placement of wreaths around the park’s fountain and words of praise for veterans.
In addition, two local veterans will be presented with “Quilts of Valor,” handmade quilts created by volunteers at the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
Veterans Park is located at JFK Boulevard and Landis Avenue. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside to the Sea Isle Community Lodge, 300 JFK Boulevard.
