The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Sea Isle City and the surrounding region for Friday from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected. Rain will mix with snow during the day Friday near the coast.
Temperatures will rapidly drop into the teens late Friday night. Any untreated roads will become icy and dangerous, the Sea Isle Police Department said in a weather alert.
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute,” the alert says while urging motorists to slow down.
