The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Sea Isle City and the surrounding region that includes a mixture of snow changing to sleet and freezing rain late Monday night.
Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze are also in the forecast.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. Tuesday. The wintry mix is expected to change to rain Tuesday morning before tapering off in the afternoon.
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute,” the Sea Isle Police Department said in a weather alert that urges motorists to be cautious.
