The National Weather Service has placed Sea Isle City and surrounding shore communities under a Coastal Flood Advisory from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
Minor coastal flooding will continue to occur around the times of the morning high tides through Tuesday.
With a strong coastal storm passing by on Tuesday, there is a possibility of localized moderate coastal flooding in some back bays of Cape May County during Tuesday’s high tide, according to the advisory.
Flooding may cause partial or full road closures. Motorists are urged to take their time while traveling and should not drive around barricades or through floodwater, the Sea Isle Police Department said in a weather alert.
For police or fire emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call the Sea Isle Police Department at (609) 263-4311.
