A National Weather Service graphic shows the flood-prone areas this week.
Sea Isle City and surrounding shore communities remain under a Coastal Flood Advisory from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday and will likely experience bouts of minor flooding all the way into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Additional rounds of minor coastal flooding are expected around the times of the morning high tide through at least the end of the week. Areas of minor coastal flooding may occur with the morning high tides into the weekend as well.
Flooding is expected to begin on the most vulnerable coastal roads and could result in partial or full closures.
“If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property,” the Sea Isle City Police Department said in a weather alert.
