The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for Sea Isle City and other nearby coastal areas from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 3.
Strong easterly winds and rain could combine to cause additional minor flooding with the high tide Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Residents should be prepared to move vehicles to safe places before going to bed on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Some full or partial road closures are possible during the flooding. For your safety and the protection of your vehicle and neighboring properties, never attempt to drive through flood waters.
“If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property,” the Sea Isle Police Department said in a weather alert.
For Police and Fire Department emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 609-263-4311.
