The National Weather Service issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for Sea Isle City and other nearby coastal areas from 6 p.m. to midnight Monday.
An approaching full moon will contribute to tidal flooding in the “minor” category on Monday night.
Residents should be prepared to monitor conditions and move vehicles to safe places in advance of the Monday night high tide.
“If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property,” the Sea Isle Police Department said in a weather alert.
For Police and Fire Department emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 609-263-4311.
