The Division of Tourism will host Sea Isle City’s 2023 Fall Family Festival Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17.
This popular two-day event will feature a variety of attractions, including craft and merchandise vendors, a food court, live music, an antique auto show, free amusement rides and other family-friendly activities.
On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the festival’s Seaside Vendors Market will take place along the Promenade (north and south of JFK Boulevard), where a wide selection of crafts, artwork, apparel and specialty merchandise will be on sale. Meanwhile, the festival’s food court will also be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on JFK Boulevard at Pleasure Avenue.
Also on Saturday, families can enjoy a variety of activities at Excursion Park, including free amusement rides from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will also be live music by Brass Pocket and other free attractions at Excursion Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – including face painters, a photo booth, an art bar, balloon twisters and more.
Classic autos will line the Promenade during Sunday's show.Fall Family Festival will continue Sunday, September 17, with the 20th annual Gerard A. Desiderio Antique Auto Show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along the Promenade, where scores of classic vehicles will be on display north of JFK Boulevard.
To enter a vintage car or truck in the Antique Auto Show, go the event’s “calendar” listing at www.VISITSICNJ.com, then print and mail-in a pre-registration form. Pre-registration forms are also available at the Sea Isle City Welcome Center.
The pre-registration entry fee (by September 12) is $9 per vehicle.
Car owners may also register in-person on September 17 by entering the Promenade at 29th Street and slowly driving north to the event’s registration table at 32nd Street. Same-day registration costs $12. Proof of insurance is required for all vehicles entered in the Auto Show. Vehicle owners who participate will receive a keep-sake souvenir.
Also on Sunday, the Snake Brothers Band will perform on the Promenade at JFK Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Then, at 12 noon, representatives from the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission will distribute their 2023 Beautification Awards to local property owners.
At 1 p.m. on Sunday, Mayor Leonard Desiderio will distribute trophies to the winners of the Antique Auto Show during a brief awards ceremony on the Promenade at JFK Boulevard.
Then, starting at approximately 1:30 p.m., the vehicles from the auto show will parade through town, first along Pleasure Avenue (44th to 93rd Street) and then north on Landis Avenue (93rd Street to JFK Boulevard).
