On Tuesday, August 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Sea Isle City Police Department will host a National Night Out celebration at Excursion Park, located at JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue.
As is the case in towns and cities throughout the country, the focus of Sea Isle’s National Night Out is to increase awareness for important police programs, such as drug prevention, avoiding juvenile alcohol use, and other anti-crime efforts.
Sea Isle’s National Night Out will feature complementary snacks and giveaways, as well as a variety of free activities, including face painters, an inflatable bounce house, a photo booth, games, live music and other family-friendly activities.
Families will also enjoy a variety of interactive law enforcement and safety displays, manned by representatives from Sea Isle’s Fire Department, Division of Emergency Medical Services and Beach Patrol, as well as the Cape May County’s Sheriff’s Office, Prosecutor’s Office, K-9 Unit and SWAT Team.
