Sea Isle City’s 2023 holiday seasonal beach tags are completely sold out, the city announced on its website.
Sea Isle has been selling holiday-themed beach tags since 2010. Year after year, these tiny pieces of plastic traditionally are one of the most coveted gifts found wrapped under the tree or stuffed into Christmas stockings.
This year, Sea Isle ordered 4,000 holiday beach tags to sell for as long as they would last.
They were $20 each, representing a $5 savings compared to the regularly priced seasonal tags. This was first time that Sea Isle had sold and shipped out holiday beach tags through the city’s website,
www.seaislecitynj.us, in addition to in-person sales.
Regular seasonal beach tags will go on sale starting Jan. 3. The $20 preseason rate for seasonal tags ends May 15. Afterward, the normal seasonal rate of $25 will apply.
