Matlock is an ordained minister, a facilitator of innovation and impact, and a regular presenter and workshop facilitator for Barna.
He is the founder of WisdomWorks LLC, a consultancy helping churches and faith-based organizations leverage their collective wisdom and insight to innovate and adapt in changing times.
Matlock also has been an advisor to organizations such as the Seed Company, Youth Specialties, and Brotherhood Mutual. He is the author of more than 20 books for teens and parents and in 2019 co-authored

Also returning to the Tabernacle on Aug. 14 will be contemporary hymn and songwriter, recording artist and worship leader Paul Baloche.
A three-time Dove Award winner, Baloche fills the stage with energy and passion grounded in the truth of God’s Word, according to a Tabernacle news release. He will be accompanied by a full band led by New Jersey’s own Dave Pettigrew.
The free concert begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. for first-come, first-served seating and a hymn sing at 6:30 p.m.
