A coastal storm will form along the region starting Monday afternoon. Strong gusty winds and rain, heavy at times, are expected.
The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning, with moderate tidal flooding at Monday night’s high tide, which will occur around 10.30 p.m.
People are urged to move vehicles from low-lying areas and secure any furniture or loose items on decks and patios that might be vulnerable to high winds.
Refrain from driving through tidal flood waters, as your wake may cause damage to nearby properties as well as your own vehicle.
