Mayor's Message: City Buildings Reopen to Public May 24

  • News
We continue to receive good news about the re-opening of the state. On May 19, capacity limits on outdoor gatherings, indoor dining, and other indoor activities will be removed. We are still subject to social distancing and mask wearing, especially in indoor settings, but all things considered, we are definitely moving in the right direction. On top of that, as of yesterday, we currently have no active COVID-19 cases in Sea Isle City. Given all of this information, city buildings will reopen to public access starting Monday, May 24, with mask wearing and social distancing required. On Council’s agenda today is a resolution authorizing award of a contract to proceed with all of our summer concerts this summer at Excursion Park. The new pickleball courts just built by the marina are close to being ready, and we expect these to be open for public use before Memorial Day weekend. Mayor Leonard C. Desiderio
