The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for coastal Cape May County from Thursday morning to Thursday evening.
The remnants of Hurricane Zeta will be moving through the region, bringing a few waves of heavy precipitation that could result in 2 to 4 inches of rain, according to a weather alert from the Sea Isle City Police Department.
A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Residents living in areas prone to stormwater should be prepared to take action if flooding develops.
