Avalon Boulevard is also known as County Route 601.
There will be lane closures on Avalon Boulevard (C.R. 601) during construction work on the Ingram’s and Leonard’s Thorofare bridges that are part of the roadway leading to Avalon.
The lane closures will occur June 1 through June 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both lanes of the roadway will be reopened at the end of the day.
During the lane closures, traffic will alternate around the construction zone using flaggers or a temporary traffic signal. The road will not be closed, but motorists should expect delays.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution through the construction zone for their safety and the safety of the workers.
