The National Weather Service graphic shows how much snow is expected in different parts of New Jersey during Wednesday's storm.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Jersey Shore for Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Cape May County is not expecting any snow accumulation, but may get hit with 1-2 inches of rain, minor to moderate tidal flooding and northeasterly winds from 25-35 mph and gusts to 50 mph, according to a weather alert from the Sea Isle City Police Department.
Coastal flooding from the storm is expected to last from Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon, the NWS says.
Motorists are warned never to attempt to drive through flood waters or around barricades. The water could be much deeper than it appears.
Vehicles should be moved from areas that typically experience tidal flooding.
Residents should monitor the forecast for updates because conditions may change for better or worse as the weather system approaches.
