If you were in town on Thursday, Sept. 26, I hope you had the opportunity to stand along Landis Avenue as the 2019 New Jersey Run for the Fallen passed through our town.
Each year, this important event pays tribute to every service member from New Jersey who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, and we are very honored that this event always passes through Sea Isle City.
My thanks go to all of the people who made this year’s Run for the Fallen a reality – and to all of the members of this community who took time from their busy schedules to honor the men and women from the Garden State who died for our Country.
I think we all can agree that we are having an amazing autumn here in Sea Isle City – and fortunately there’s more seasonal fun still to come during our annual Halloween Parade and Halloween Family Dance Party on Friday evening, Oct. 18.
For more information about these popular events – or to learn how you can appear in the Halloween Parade – please phone the City’s Division of Recreation at 609-263-0050.
Please be aware that Sea Isle City’s Floodplain Management Planning Committee will host a public meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m. on the third floor of City Hall – and we hope many residents and property owners will attend so they can share their thoughts and comments about flooding issues in Sea Isle City.
