Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland, Middle Township Chief of Police Christopher Leusner, and school administrators of the Cape May County Technical High School jointly announced the completion of a random K-9 sweep of the Cape May County Technical High School for narcotics.
On Thursday, following the start of the school day, a pre-planned, unannounced K-9 sweep operation for illegal drugs was coordinated by the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, the Middle Township Police Department and by school officials. K-9 Units from the Cape May County Sheriff's Department, with assistance of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department, conducted the random sweep of areas of the high school.
