Sea Isle City has installed a permanent medicine drop box at Police Headquarters, making it easier for local residents to safely dispose of unwanted prescription drugs.
The public is invited to the official unveiling of the new “Project Medicine Drop Box” at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29. The unveiling will begin with a press conference on the third floor of City Hall, 233 JFK Boulevard, with Sea Isle Mayor Leonard Desiderio, Police Chief Thomas McQuillen, New Jersey Consumer Affairs Acting Director Paul R. Rodríguez and other community leaders who are committed to battling the current opiate crisis.
