Mayor's Holiday Toy and Food Drive Underway

The Cape May County Association of Chiefs of Police donated toys and a check for $1,000 to Mayor Leonard Desiderio’s 26th Annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive. Sea Isle City Mayor Leonard Desiderio has launched his annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive, which benefits local families in need. 2018 marks the 26th consecutive year that the mayor has hosted the popular fundraiser. On Nov. 24, members of the Cape May County Association of Chiefs of Police presented Desiderio with toys and a check for $1,000 during their annual Holiday Dash at Kix-McNutley’s in Sea Isle. Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and other law enforcement officials were on hand to show their support for the Holiday Toy and Food Drive.
Additional donations of toys, non-perishable food items and gift cards for the Holiday Toy and Food Drive will be accepted at the following locations in Sea Isle until December 17:  City Hall, 233 JFK Boulevard; The Sea Isle Welcome Center, 300 JFK Boulevard; First Bank of Sea Isle City, 4301 Landis Avenue; Rick’s Breakfast House & Donuts, 6114 Landis Avenue; Mrs. Brizzle’s Buns & Deli, 4411 Landis Avenue; and Kix-McNutley’s Package Goods on 63rd Street.
