The Sea Isle City Environmental Commission will host their annual Autumn Beach Clean-Up & Dune Grass Planting on Saturday, September 23. During this important event, volunteers will help clean trash and debris from Sea Isle City’s beaches and dunes – and they will also plant thousands of young dune grass plants.
150 volunteers – including local businesses, scout troops, students, families and individuals – are expected to participate in the Beach Clean-Up.
To thank the volunteers, Approach Clothing Company (located at 6300 Landis Avenue in Sea Isle City) will provide complimentary event tee-shirts. Also, Mike’s Dockside Seafood Restaurant (located in historic Fish Alley) will provide volunteers with a free luncheon after the beaches are clean.
