During Sea Isle City’s annual Italian Festival on October 7, Mayor Leonard Desiderio and his family presented a check for $10,000 to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, which represented the proceeds from this year’s Gerard A. Desiderio Heart Walk.
During its six-year history, the Heart Walk, which is named in honor of Mayor Desiderio’s younger brother, has raised more than $67,000 for Deborah – thanks to ongoing support from local organizations such as the Sea Isle City Italian American Club, First Bank of Sea Isle City, Mike’s Seafood Market, Oceans 12 Realty and others.
