Each year on Community Day, First Bank of Sea Isle City presents a “Community Partnership Award” and a check for $2000 to a local civic organization that performs charitable deeds. During this year’s Community Day on May 20, AARP Chapter 710 will be the recipient of that honor. On Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon, Mayor Leonard Desiderio will host Sea Isle City’s 8

- Children’s Fingerprinting, Gun Awareness for Children and other info from the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department
- Free Bicycle Registration and Bike Safety Info from the Sea Isle City Police Department
- Free Giveaways and plenty of Family Fun
Also during Community Day, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce will present scholarships to local students; the Mayor’s Community Partnership Award – and a check for $2000 – will be presented to AARP Chapter 710 (sponsored by First Bank of Sea Isle City); and Mayor Desiderio will present his “Do the Right Thing” awards to Sis Borden; Tom Breazeale, Jr.; Bill Keller; Tom Owings; Joe Robinson; and Bob Thibault.
