Every year, hundreds of children and their families attend a New Year’s Eve celebration in Sea Isle City, which allows kids to ring-in the New Year and still get to bed at a reasonable hour. The theme of the celebration this year will be “From Sea to Shining Sea.”
The celebration, hosted by the City’s Division of Recreation and Municipal Alliance Committee, will be held at the Gymnasium (inside the former Public School Building), from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and will feature family activities, dancing, entertainment, food and refreshments and an early countdown to midnight with a falling crystal ball at 7:00 p.m.
The evening will “end with a bang” at the JFK Boulevard Beach at 8:00 p.m. with a Fireworks display.
Reservations are required (limited space availability), admission is with a “dessert” and children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, phone the Recreation Office at (609) 263-0050.
