On Thursday, October 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. inside the former Sea Isle City Public School at 4501 Park Road, Mayor Leonard Desiderio, Sea Isle City’s Municipal Alliance Committee, the Sea Isle City Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office will host an interactive workshop called Hidden in Plain Sight for parents, grandparents and other concerned adults.

During this free event, participants will get a closer look at the latest substance abuse trends & hiding spots – and they will learn specifically what to look for in their own homes (including ways kids hide harmful drugs and paraphernalia “in plain sight”). Participants will walk through a simulated teenager’s bedroom – and they will be amazed by what they learn!

Due to the nature of the materials being discussed, this event is for adults only.  Pizza and salad will be served and child care for school-aged children will be provided.
