Freeholder Marie Hayes; Freeholder Director Jerry Thornton, and Congressman Fran LoBiondo

By Michael DeVlieger

Sea Isle News.com was recently contacted by the Thornton – Hayes Campaign regarding buying some advertising. Hearing this, I could not help myself and I called them to see if they would like to do a taped sit-down interview to discuss their backgrounds and the issues that mean the most to the residents of Cape May County.

I was pleasantly surprised when they accepted. Attached below is the interview that we conduced early this week.   While I realize that I am not going to unseat Tom Brokaw from his job, I found my two guests very interesting and in command of the issues.

If you have any doubts about this year’s Cape May County Freeholder election, this is a must see.  The video is just shy of 25 minutes. There are no commercials.  Here is just a few of the topics that they discussed:

      • Veterans Issues
        • Senior Citizens
        • Dredging
        • Centralized 911
        • The New Jail
      • Keeping Our Taxes the Lowest in New Jersey
      • Fulltime Employment Opportunities
      • Drones
      • Tourism
  •  The Zoo
  •  County Library
  •  Fair Free Transportation
  •  Emergency Management

Remember to VOTE on November 8.
