The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management is warning of coastal flooding that is expected beginning with Wednesday evening’s high tide and continuing through at least Friday.

Minor coastal flooding for Wednesday evening will likely result in some road closures near the shore as well as flooding of up to a half a foot. A coastal Flood Advisory is now in effect for this high tide cycle.

More significant impacts will be possible for southern portions of the coast by Thursday and Friday, with some areas experiencing moderate flooding, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
