The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect for Sea Isle City and nearby coastal areas from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday.
Heavy rainfall Tuesday or Tuesday night could exacerbate flooding, according to the forecast.
An approaching full moon, easterly winds and rain showers could combine to create tidal flooding in the “minor” category.
Some partial or full road closures are possible. Motorists are urged to allow extra time if travel is required.
“Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property,” according to a weather alert issued by the Sea Isle Police Department.
