During the December 24 City Council meeting, which was our final meeting of the year, Ordinance 1645 was adopted following Second Reading and Public Hearing. Ordinance 1645 establishes and fixes wages, salaries and compensation payments for municipal officers and employees.
Each of the 26 resolutions on the December 24 Consent Agenda was approved, including:
- Resolution 233, which authorized the re-appointment and appointment of Zoning Board Members.
- Resolution 238, which authorized the award of a professional services contract for pickleball lessons with “Dink-It” through the City’s Department of Community Services/Division of Recreation.
- Resolution 240, which authorized the execution of a Shared Services Agreement between Sea Isle City and Ocean City for Construction Official Services, Fire Sub-Code Plan Review Services, and Conflict Sub-Code Plan Review and Inspections Services.
- Resolution 246, which authorized a Professional Services Contract for a Municipal Prosecutor and Substitute Municipal Prosecutor for 2020 to Thomas Rossi and Donald Charles, respectively.
Our next City Council meeting will take place in Council Chambers on Tuesday, January 14, at 10 a.m.
