CONTACT Cape-Atlantic will hold the 39th Annual Avalon 5-Miler on Saturday, July 6 at 8 a.m., with registration beginning at 7 a.m.
This event also includes a 2-mile walk, and both start at Avalon Community Hall, 30th and Avalon Avenue.
Pre-registration is $30 and same day registration is $35. All runners and walkers are invited.

All proceeds help support CONTACT’s telephone reassurance program, which provides free daily calls to more than 200 elderly and disabled individuals. The calls help clients to continue their independent living.
Last year over 72,000 calls were managed by CONTACT Cape-Atlantic volunteers.
