In conjunction with the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the Sea Isle City

Police Department will partner with the NJ State Police on Saturday, August 6, and Saturday, August 13, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day, to increase awareness of bicycle safety, help prevent accidents, and promote safe riding practices for children and adults alike. During this outreach event, representatives from the State Police and the SICPD will travel around town on bicycles, offering safety info and interacting with bicyclists.

As always, bicyclists are encouraged to practice safe and responsible riding and embolden others around them to do the same by using a helmet, checking equipment, being aware of their surroundings, and obeying all traffic laws.
