The Sea Isle City Historical Society will host a special Arbor Day Celebration on Friday, April 28, at 12 noon, at which time an Ornamental Cherry Tree will be planted in the Sea Isle City Historical Museum’s Memorial Garden, located on the grounds of the Sea Isle City Library, 4800 Central Avenue. During the event, a plaque will be unveiled and the Cherry Tree will be dedicated in honor of all past, present and future Historical Society volunteers as a way to thank them for preserving Sea Isle’s rich history.
After the ceremony, everyone in attendance will be invited to enjoy light refreshments inside the Historical Museum. All guests will also be given a free tree seedling in honor of Arbor Day.
This event is being held in conjunction with the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission, the Sea Isle City Shade Tree Committee, the Cape May County Library System and the City of Sea Isle City.
