PLEASE PLAN AN ALTERNATE ROUTE:
The County has announced that Garden State Parkway Exit 17 (the exit for Sea Isle City on the southbound lanes of the Parkway) will be closed from 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, through 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, for repaving. Please plan an alternate route during that time. For example, use Exit 25 (Marmora) and travel approximately 9-miles south on Route 9 to Sea Isle Boulevard or use Exit 13 (Avalon) and travel approximately 4-miles north on Route 9 to Sea Isle Boulevard.
The northbound Garden State Parkway entrance from Sea Isle Boulevard will remain open during the times listed above – only Exit 17 on the Parkway’s southbound lanes will be closed.
