The Townsends Inlet Bridge connecting Sea Isle City and Avalon will be closed from 7 p.m. on Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday. Motorists should plan an alternate route.
During that time, workers will remove the concrete construction barrier curb and the temporary traffic signal system from the bridge for the summer season.
If rain forces the cancellation of the closure of the bridge on Tuesday night, the closure will occur on Wednesday night.
