Longtime Sea Isle City Mayor Leonard C. Desiderio has an unusual perspective as a public official because he also serves as a member of the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders. As a result, “Lenny” is uniquely qualified to discuss our local Cape May County municipalities and their relationship to the County.
Desiderio is the Board’s Director of Public Safety and has presided over emergency response for several major storms. He also works with state, county and local tourism boards to boost the county’s economy, has been involved in Cape May County’s award winning Fare Free transportation system for seniors and many other aspects of daily life in Sea Isle and in Cape May County.
