Are you an uninsured or underinsured male age 45 or over with a family history of prostate cancer or of African American ethnicity? Or, are you age 50 with an average risk for prostate cancer? If so, you’re invited to receive a free prostate cancer screening at Shore Cancer Center on Tuesday, June 26 between 3 and 7 pm. Urologic surgeon Dr. Meredith Perry will conduct the screenings, which involves a digital rectal exam and a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, but it is also treatable when discovered in its early stages.
