The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Sea Isle City.
Heavy rain is expected to continue into Friday evening.
Heavy rain and gusty winds coupled with minor to moderate coastal flooding could result in considerably higher flood levels during the course of Friday morning’s high tide, which will occur at approximately 7 a.m. and extend through Friday morning.
Those in flood prone areas are asked to move vehicles to higher ground prior to Friday morning’s high tide.
Do not drive through flood waters. Driving through flooded streets will severely damage your vehicle and risk personal harm, and the wake your vehicle creates will severely damage garage doors, fences and other property. Remember: Turn around, don’t drown!
