The Mayor also announced that applications are now being accepted from participants for the City’s annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 19.

In addition to several routine resolutions on the October 9 Consent Agenda, the following resolutions were also adopted:

During the “New Business” portion of the October 9 meeting, Councilman Kehner announced that volunteers are needed for the Environmental Commission’s annual Autumn Beach Clean-Up on Saturday, October 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Anyone wishing to help clean Sea Isle’s beaches and dunes can sign up on the morning of the event at JFK Boulevard and the Promenade.

During the “Citizen Comment” portion of the October 9 meeting, local resident and business owner Mike Monichetti thanked City Council, the City Administration and all of the City’s Employees for “a great summer season.” Mr. Monichetti also mentioned that he heard many positive comments about Sea Isle City from his customers this summer.

Our next City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 23, at 10:00 a.m. in Council Chambers. We hope to see you there.
